Quickbooks Helpline Support for 1099s form

If you have QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Contractor Payments, or QuickBooks Desktop, 1099s aren’t automatically created for you. You must prepare the 1099s yourself to provide them to contractors, and then file with the IRS or state.

Update January 2023:
– Form 1099-NEC and Form 1099-MISC – Box For calendar year: 1099s produced by Intuit will populate this box with the full year, 2022. If you have a pre-printed form, the date in the box will have extra numbers, for example, 202022. This is okay, you can print and file your forms as normal.
– Intuit Online Payroll — If you used Intuit Online Payroll to create your 1099s last year, you can use your new payroll service or sign up for QuickBooks Contractor Payments to create them this year. If you need to get reprints of older 1099s, contact us to get copies.

QuickBooks can help you prepare your 1099s seamlessly, using the info you already have in your accounts. To learn how to create and e-file your 1099s, choose your product:
